Tenor

Koa Back and sides
Engleman spruce top
Ebony bindings
Ziricote headstock overlay
Sapele neck
Ebony fingerboard
ebony bridge
and a whole lot of fun. This one was especially fun as a good friend commissioned it.

I like the sound port on the upper side of the bout. Did you need to back that with anything for support? Looks Great

Great job. How was the ebony to work with when it came to bending it for the binding? I have never tried it yet but it just seems so dang brittle.

The sound port has Mahogany veneer backing around it. The finish is True Oil. The ebony wasn't too bad, i found I had to thin it down to about .075 and it bent pretty easily. I did have one break in the form while bending but was able to put it back together.
