i'd dump my wife for this (j/k).this is another one of my recently finished build . i love the rich caramel'y tone of the Koa. sounds real nice and loud.

I'm not sure how many builds you have under your belt but it looks like each one you post looks more and more refined. This one looks very nice, thank you for sharing.

That's a beauty. Regarding the location of the soundhole - I notice it's off center but partially under the strings, not all the way up in the bout like some do their offset soundholes. Was there a scientific/audio theory behind the positioning of the hibiscus or just an aesthetic thing?

yep, its off center like most kasha braced ukes. instead of an oval shape soundhole, my customer wanted a hibiscus flower.
