Father And Son...

This is a little different. Fathers and sons are not playing together, but I'm doubling down on the concept.

Wow, bruddah Stan - What is that Herb Sr. plays in that video? Looks like a custom Martin Style 3. Really looks like maple, but it may be light koa.

Thanks for posting that video, Stan. I had the great experience of seeing Ohta San perform (my first time) at the Maui Ukulele Festival, and I wondered if he'd ever performed with his son. I thought they could tour as "San and Son." By the way, someone told me that Ohta San wouldn't let his son perform in public for several years, until Ohta San thought Jr. was good enough. I'm not sure if that's true, but it was an interesting story.

Stan that was a while ago. That is the house in GA. I am going to try and get some uke vids up with her here in AK. We shall see. SHe has a dolphin and a gecko:) She has UAS:)

Aloha Stan, If that video exists, it's probably in the Moon Ohana family films vault. Interestingly enough though, in hmgberg's post (#5 in this thread) it would appear the same Martin tenor is being played in the Peter Moon, Sr. video and in the Peter Moon, Jr. with Cyril Pahinui one.
Son plays Pops' ukulele. So there's a connection for you.
