I have a microphone stand with a flexible gooseneck on top for ease in adjustment. The gooseneck has a spring-loaded microphone clamp that holds the kazoo.

Here is a link to a company that has the best sounding kazoos of any I have ever used:

Lil' Rev does. His Kazoo has a horn on top of his. He called that a "broadcaster"

Kazoo is definitely an aquired taste. I like them when played by someone with a good sense of pitch, which seems to be about 1 in 100 people who actually use them. Kazoos are to melody what the tambourine and bhodran are to rhythm - great when used with skill but all to often used by those with little or no skill. (Not saying Li'l Rev doesn't have skill, btw. :) )

So which is the best Kazoo in the world. KAS anyone?

I play kazoo with my uke at times. My daughters play kazoo at times without the uke <cringe>. Part of the prblem is that they were extremely cheap plastic jobs so I'm looking to upgrade to something a bit more reliable. Any thoughts?

Here's some mean, old school kazoo playing...no uke though, in spite of brilliant string playing from Eddie Condon & Co. But Red McKenzie was THE man, when kazoo playing is to be considered!
