Stumbled upon this today...

I'd appreciate some opinions on the price. I've been thinking about a Slingerland for my next uke and I'm getting tired of being outbid for one on ebay! :)

Seems like this is a fair price, but thought it best to ask the crowd here before I pull the trigger. What say you? Go for it or exercise more patience on ebay?

That is a very good price for a playing condition Slingerland. I'd pull the trigger on it, if I didn't know someone here wanted it..

I've seen them go for that in not playing condition.

That looks pretty nice.

I have an old (1920's) Mauna Loa Banjo Uke. I've had it for years. Most came with a steel back, but mine has a wooden back (resonator?). It looks original to the uke. Actually it all lokks original except maybe the bridge. It has the serial # 4479 stamped on the neck support inside the body. I've had it for years and don't even recall where or when I might have gotten it.
