This is my favorite song from the first Home Grown album.

My friends and I actually entered that contest. We had no chance of winning, but they played all the entries on the radio and I had the thrill of hearing my song played on KKUA radio back in 1976.

Don't know why this song isn't more well-known. It's beautiful...

Love all your videos. This may be my new favorite. Thank you.

Nice one John and Much Mahalos, just brought back memories . . . I remembah those quite well and I tink I still get da vinyl, gotta go look. Was one pretty good deal to showcase amateur talent back in da day. Those came out when I was stationed in Germany and we used to play em wen da locals got togedda.

Mahalo, Kanaka! I think I bought the first two. I remember the album cover design was also a contest!

That was a really nice tune and you did a wonderful job. Hawaiian music is always so positive and the closeness to nature is so evident. Nice.

gee John, another gorgeous video and stunning performance mate, simply beautiful

Thank you! All ukulele players should visit Hawaii at least once!

Mahalo, Coconut Willie! Here they are. They're posted in the info section of the video on YouTube as well:
