I have for offer a Koa Pili Koko concert, purchased in April 2012. I like it very much, but I recently acquired another concert from a UU member and to keep the wife happy, I'm now on a one-of-each-size basis.

Body: Solid acacia
Neck: Mahogany
Fretboard and Bridge: Rosewood
Nut and Saddle: Bone

Strung with D'Addario T2 Titanium strings. (Uke was photographed with Aquilas, but I switched them for better tone)

SOLD

Will ship with a soft-sided padded gig bag.

Still available as of 11/30. Make me an offer!

Great ukes, I just got a concert cutaway and Aquilas make mine sing with a sweet, woody ring....but I have the ebony nut and saddle..makes a difference. I love the way they sound.

Couldnt you just tell her its a "Semi-Concert" or an "Alto-Concert"? Get creative!! ;)

gloss or matte finish?

KPKs don't really come in a matte finish, they all have a nitrocellulose lacquer that allows the pores of the wood to show, but isn't the standard thick 'gloss' finish you may see on other instruments.

This photoset, while not of my uke, will give you a better idea of what the finish and woodgrain looks like up close
