I looking to find a reputable luthier in San Diego, CA that can do good set-ups and minor repairs on ukuleles.

Our very own Rick Turner shouldnt be very far from your area. he knows alot of cool luthiers from all over the place

Depends on your definition of "close." Santa Cruz is probably 6 hours from San Diego, though closer than Hawaii...

Rick is up farther north, but I think he sells some through Blue Guitar in San Diego they have a luthier. I don't have any personal experience with them.

6 hours if you drive 110 on the highways. It's more like 11 hours if you don't hit traffic
