re-stringing an old banjolele

I have just bought a old John Grey banjolele on eBay, it needs re-stringing - what is the best knot for attaching nylgut strings to the tailstock (it has 4 tiny 'pins' with heads)?
Strumming down-under...

I'd query Aaron Keim or Goldtone. I just had a no knot tailpeice put on mine. One site suggested "triple knot???????"

Knot for benjolele strings

Hi guys, it seems a Double Fishermans Loop will do the trick. I haven't road-tested it properly yet, but here's a link if you want to try it:

A bowline works, I use it on mine with never a problem
