The lovely guys at Covered Bridge are working on a concert for me and I just can not keep it to myself; I have to share the pictures of their impressive work!
It'll take a while longer before it's finished so expect more photo's of this brilliant little uke coming to life!

Blood wood binding went on and that's a lovely piece of rosewood that'll become the fretboard.

This is a labour of love.
I think it's so cool that Terry and Perry send pictures all these stages of the build!

Sweet! Enjoy the process. I look forward to more pics.

I really enjoy my Pineapple hog CB concert greatly, the one that you chimed in on the prior thread last week, tiger. It's sweet as all heck. The sound is really what I desire in a ukulele. It's feel is so good--the neck size and nut width. I know it's a very personal thing, this whole uulele thing, but someday I hope to get a CB tenor, too.

Do post photos and, of course, your opinion of it when yuo get t. Cheers!

Congrats. Excellent choices. The redwood top and myrtle body is the way to go on CB. Very classy and great sounding from what I have seen and heard.

Thanks for the pics.

oooh very pretty. What is the binding? It really fits in with the other wood colors

I think you will be very pleased with your CB uke, .

I could be wrong but what looks like a bit of curl on the myrtle pics will be alot more prominent in person.it looks great

isnt the waiting a bugger :)

here is a pic or three to make the waiting even harder... congrats

You're going to love it, we tigers. Terry and Perry make wonderful sounding ukuleles. They are, also, some of the nicest folks ever and they really take pride in their work, so it comes with awesome mojo.

Michael, you will love that Covered Bridge uke made of mainland wood.

We recently got a CB all-myrtle concert and we love it. It's put together beautifully and it has a great sound. You can see it as a recent build on their FB page, and I use it in a Seasons entry (post 114 on the 38th Season).

Today Terry sent me some more pictures. It's getting near completion. I started drooling when I opened the email...
Can't wait for it to be sent over the pond.

Looking good! Love the contrast between the dark binding and the light wood.

Wow! That looks amazing. I've also got a Covered Bridge myrtle redwood concert. The thing is incredible. So light with a rich & full tone. Look forward to hearing your report once it arrives.
