It's Not a Game Anymore - original

This is a song about a long distance relationship I wrote back in the '80s. I touched up a couple of lyrics in the bridge more recently.

Brilliant song Jim, so passionate, an awesome chord progression and just wonderful lyrics mate. There's some serious guts and emotion went into the writing of that one, you could tell in the way you performed it. Loved the way you kept tying things off through the song with the 'It's Not a Game Anymore' line.....was really nice in that it slowed things up a bit and there was some space to breathe amidst the chaos and take stock. Powerful. Well done brother.
