Changhing Tunier buttons on Grover Tuners?

I don't like the silver tuner buttons of the Grover Tuners of my Kanile'a, so I ordered new Koa buttons. They didn't arrive yet, but I wonder how to remove the original tuner buttons since there's no screw or anything else.

Just pull it off? I already tried, but they did not move. I didn't use brute force, do I have to?
