In a progressive rut!!!

I can't seem to progress past the last couple of songs I've learned, albeit I am getting technically better at playing them, I am forgetting what chords I'm playing any why...just going through the motions. I need something to kick start me back into motion, learn new songs and get back on target! Thank you all! This is the best 'Ukulele community out there!

I highly recommend uu plus to learn some great stuff...each time I have hit a plateau I have broken through..frustrating yes but keep pushing...

Kevin - perfectly normal when starti g out. You need to possibly try a complete change. Get a whole new song and set a goal - or a new technique, but ensure you don't go the whole hog the other way - good practice is balanced and mixed.

By trying something new you might find a hurdle gets jumped and you move on. But don't give up on the stuff you are playing well either.

Everyone practices differently but I'm a big believer in keeping it fresh and mixed. New challenges can bring new rewards

Find a group near you and join in. No doubt they are playing something you will find interesting.

Don't think in terms of what is within your technical grasp. Think about what you like to hear (jazz? bluegrass? classical? folk? metal?) and then try it. If it's too hard then there's no harm done and you can just dial it back a notch.
