SOLD

The herd thinning continues.

This is a beautiful Lanikai LK-1C : concert uke: Hawaiian-made by Kanile’a. All solid koa body, mahogany neck with 19 fret rosewood fingerboard, abalone dot inlays, rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, Tusq nut & saddle, Grover open geared tuners, handcrafted in Kaneohe, O'ahu Hawaii by Kanile’a Ukulele a few years ago. It comes with Aquila strings and a hard shell foam case.

High gloss UV finish looks great, 1-9/16" nut, 15" scale.
Like-new finish, w/o scratches or blemishes of any kind. Very little play time on it, a couple hours.

This is a beautiful and great sounding uke. Here is a sample.

No this is a different one, Mike still has his (as of October). This one was stored new by its former owner for a couple years on the West Coast, it was supposed to be a gift as I understand. It is beautiful and sweet playing. As it hasn't been played much it is still opening up, and should sound even better.

Thanks John.

Was it made by Kanilea ?.....oops never mind. I guess I should have read the post

These ukes were produced before the TRU bracing design was standard, and were only made for a limited time, like a year or so.
