Parcel Force website says it's loaded on the van in Milton Keynes and waiting for delivery. That's less than 20 miles away and 24 hours sooner than expected. I might allow myself to get a little bit excited now.

Woo-Hoo!

It's arrived and I can now say what it is.

I am the proud owner of a Stuart Longridge English Yew Soprano. I couldn't say before as I had left much of the timber choices up to him.

The uke has Yew soundboard, back a sides.
Black Walnut fretboard and bridge sourced from a tree at Kew gardens, reputed to have been planted by Queen Victoria.
Lacewood neck
Holly wood nut and saddle and a holly veneer under the Yew faceplate.

It's beautiful!

It's a dull day outside so the photos are not really doing it justice but here you go anyway.

Can we have a video review please.

Congrats on the beautiful uke. I hope you have nothing else to do today!

Congrats! Glad to hear it arrived safely.

I've now strung it with Living Water Strings. It sounds great. Review to come just before Xmas
