I'm thinking about buying a risa electric tenor. But I cant find one localy to play. does any one out ther have one or give me any feedback?:confused:

they guy that goes by "tribal theory" here on the board has one. he let me try it out once and it was really awkward for me. but he said that once you get used to it, its not bad.

personally, if i were to get an electric in that price range, i would get a bugsgear eleuke. and if i had the cash, then the ko'olau.

instead of buy a new electric ukulele, why not just install a pickup in a ukulele you already have? might save you some cash, and you can play it unplugged as well.

Tats a reasonable option, a good one runs about ~200$ installed. Now pete howlett has a tenor around 500 and a soprano electric only that runs 300 that are really good.

The risa has steel strings. thats the only reason I was looking at that model.
