For those who have fooled around with such things- what strings do folks find they like on the Ohana sk-38? I had the original Aquilas on briefly, but they seemed to have some some bad strings as the intonation was terrible. I currently have a set of Southcoast on it. Any other experiences? FWIW- the squeaking as one slides or fingerpicks on the Aquilas tends to get annoying to me after a while.

I don't have an SK-38 (it was literally a coin-toss and Mainland won my mahogany soprano itch) - still, if everything is true what they say about the SK-38 I suspect it might like the same strings that work so well on my Mainland mahogany. Namely, Worth CH - yes, clear heavy. That thing is now a cannon and the strings intonate almost perfectly.

Of course, if you like spongy soft strings you won't like them much...
