SUSA are holding a ukulele day at St. George's Social Club, Kidderminster on Saturday 1st December.
During the afternoon (2pm to 5:30 pm) the club room will be used for general chit chat, buying and selling, messing around with ukuleles.
John Croft will have a number of ukuleles from his personal collection for people to try.
There will also be a number of workshops held in the building next door, including an absolute beginners workshop, and setting-up a ukulele (John Colter).
The evening (starting 7:30 pm) will be taken up with open mic and performances from local ukulele clubs (including SUSA and Bridgnorth) ending with a mass jam starting at 9:30 and ending around 10:30.
Generally this event will be low key as we are dipping our toe in the water and if this event is successful we hope to run it annually.
The day is free, but you do need a ticket (we will hold them on the door). If you want a ticket(s) or would like to know more PM me.
