Hey Everyone!

I was just wondering what your guy's opinion was on a Kiwaya K-Wave Rock Uke VI was.. I would like to get one, but am not sure if it's worth it. And if it is worth getting do you know of anywhere in canada/US to order one online? I couldn't find any one eBay, I only found Mahalo's on eBay.

Comments/suggestions/feedback.

Thanks,

Mitch

I'm in the SF bay area for Thanksgiving this week and I'm going to visit a couple stores that carry ukes tomorrow. I'm expecting at least one of them to have a K-wave uke, although I don't think it is a 'VI'. If I get a chance to play one I'll let you know what I think.

There seems to be a couple places to get them online, although you never know if places actually have them in stock.

Awesome! Yeah let me know how it is, if you find one. The "IV" I just copied right out of the name from Kiwaya's site, not sure if the "IV" makes any difference. Thanks!

They have one at the Fifth String in Berkeley. It's the Les Paul version in the honey sunburst color:

It wasn't for me though. It looks cool, but it is a little heavy for its size, and the sound (at least unplugged) seemed a little plinky. It wasn't bad, just not for me.
