I was looking around for a sopranino uke. I can't seem to find anyone who still has the Kala Pocket uke in stock. Does anyone know if these will become available again? Are there any other similarly priced sopraninos out there?

There is the Ohana SU21 Slightly larger but still sopranino size
one you can ship from China with the brand name of Tom. I have one and its pretty good, (very good for the money)

I think the Tom is the best for the money. I have one and really like it. Since it is cheap, I can be way less careful with it then I was with my Ohana Sopranino.

Again, the ukeeku sopranino might be a good deal, compared to the TOM. It is twice the price, but much nicer and comes with a case!

PM Sent, however, just in case:

If the Kala Pocket Uke is what you have your heart set on, get it! --With one very big caveat:

GET IT FROM A SHOP THAT 'SETS UP' UKES!! The Pocket Ukes have the least consistent actions and set up from the factory for any Kala I've ever played.

In other words, go to Hawaiian Music Supply or MiM, they both have spotless reputations here on UU, and both have had the Spalted Maple listed in stock now...
