Uke blues with harmonica

Well, here goes - a 12 bar blues with harmonica (I recorded the uke part first then played the harp on top - sound quality isn't great, I'm afraid):

Click on the little film strip at the top of the "Your Message' box:


Then paste the direct link,
eg "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXXxXXXxXX"

into the following window,


& hit OK.

Nice job. Sounded very authentic. I see you covered Sonny. I have been lucky to be around Rod Piazza. One of my friends played drums for Rod Piazza and James Harmon. I still have my special 20s I should get another old bullet mic. Anyway ramble done. Well done!

Definitely enjoyed that. Learning to play the harp is on my bucket list - I even have a bunch of Lee Oskar harps and an Astatic bullet microphone in a faux leather case. I could probably fool some folks into thinking I was quite the harp player - at least 'til I actually take one out of the case and put it to my mouth and make those horrible squawking sounds!

(Although my playing isn't quite as offensive as when I attempted to learn tenor sax - there, all I ever achieved was very loud, obnoxious, flatulent elephant sounds. When the neighbors down the block called the ASPCA on me I knew it was time to give the sax to somebody who could play it. :biglaugh: )

Yes, he is, but he definitely put his practice in, but that isn't a story for a public forum. He uses a HarpKing amp and a specially modded bullet mic. Junior Vegas is the only other person who knows the mod.

Another tune

Not exactly the most exciting video in the world but I had to wedge the phone camera into the corner of the room to stop it from distorting.
