I have been wanting to give the baritone uke a try, so I pulled the trigger on this Pono MHBSSC. A Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, cutaway and a slotted headstock. I have to say it sounds pretty amazing, what a difference from the tenor size sound. Obviously, it has a much more "guitar" sound, which I love, it's a nice change of pace from the tenor.

Looks like a nice uke!

Thats a nice looking baritone! The slotted headstock is nice.

I played one in HMS a month ago and it was really sweet....congratulations...happy Strummings
I would have walked out with it too...but I was trying to control my buying...ha ha

woohoo, it is beautiful! Congrats and enjoy, hammer40.

Congrats on the new bari

NIce, sometimes (okay, most times) I wish my baritone had a cutaway!

Congrats!!

If that's the blem. one from HMS, I had that in my cart and then pressed the back button. I'm glad to see that someone from UU got it!

Hmm.. Those pics aren't good for my U.A.S.
Congratulations on the nice Baritone!

It must be nice to be able to walk in to a store and have such amazing ukes to play. I've been lucky so far and have liked what I have purchased online.

Yes, it is. I was eyeing it for a couple of days as well. I was going to get either the Acacia or Mahogany bari, but then when I saw this one I went for it. Glad you backed off. LOL

Congratulations on the nice Baritone!

I get the same way when I see others posting pictures of their new ukes. Must be why I already have 4 of them and I'm only at this about 7 or 8 months.
