Help: How Change Speeds on Utube Vids

I see youtube videos that I'd like to emulate, but the speed is so fast. Seems as though I've occasionally seen a video that has a speed button (1/2 speed, etc.), but most do not.

Anyone know how to slow motion a youtube video? An extension/add-on or something? Thank you.

I should have mentioned that you'll need a Youtube video downloading extension for Firefox or Chrome to download the videos in the first place. The Chrome video downloader I use lets me download them in most formats, including mp3 if you want the audio track only:
