How do you know your ill ?

When you don't pick up your uke at all that day.
The more days off the more ill one is. arghhhh
couldn't imagine not playing the uke all day but
when you are feeling like being on full tilt it's just
not happening.

Looking forward to uke playing day again soon.

May all be well and playing the uke with vigor. Enjoy
it for those of us that are at the moment indisposed
and not up to playing for a short while.
 
I have been sick for some time....almost a year and hardly play now..and when I do it's just my old stuff and nothing new...hope you feel better soon....take care and God Bless...
 
This should pass enough in another day to be back to uke playing. It's miserable being
to ill to play so am hoping that you are soon well enough to have some new things
coming in to play. That would be wonderful to hear. Now back to the spin cycle.
 
Wowzer. Too sick to not want to pick up your Moore Bettah? You must be really ill.

Sending healing vibes you way. Hope you feel Bettah soon.
 
I have a double whammy, my pinch nerve in my back and throat infection....shoots.. hope you get better soon and get playng again....infection is slowly getting better ...I hopee
 
Understood really not fun---

and yes when to ill to pick up a Moore Bettah
you are really feeling lousy.

Ouch back pain really isn't fun either may
that nerve find its way back home. Can
understand the throat infection have been
there for a number of days myself - painful.
Hurts to swallow - hurts to talk - oh lets face
it it's just pain. The infection clears up slowly
mine is on the mend but it's taking some time
am usually pretty hail and hearty so when i get
slammed i know it's a bad one. Things usually
wash over in a day but this one has settled in
real good. Am up for a couple of minutes check
the forum then blow the nose, hack up my guts
a bit then back under the covers for a bit of respite.
The good news is that this too will pass ---- eventually.

Should be well enough but am rethinking the tat - mens tattoos are more about their personal journey whereas the womens is more of a
bonding with mother earth - keeping the family and societal structure
in place. Being that i am a celibate and the journey is that of breaking
out of the family dynamic seems to perhaps be an oxymoron to be
getting that tattoo. Will see what the tattooist says as this journey
has not been about keeping the womens hearth and home in place.
In fact anything but. hahahahahaahah it's been to long of a journey
to be caged in the home is paramount mentality. Unless have missed something along the way. But have been doing quite a bit of researching and am finding very little about these types of tattoos.

All is well it will get sorted out am sure. Took Suvrat to the shop
and he got the perfect tattoo for his journey and it is opening doors
which is fabulous.
 
G & MM may healing waves of pure ukulele energy break over you both!
 
I understand that sentiment, having had a whole six weeks with a fractured pelvis that I couldn't play and the bad days that come too. I hope you're feeling better soon and able to pick up that Moore Bettah and give her a good ole strum! Feel better!

Ouch.... Now that one would be brutal --- it's better today got the uke
out but the case feels like it weighs a hundred pounds so am still a bit
weak. Good news is am on the mend, it will only get better from here.

Yes am still here --- am dragging out of the sick bed to drive around to North
shore today to pay andrew so i can get a pickup installed in the Kawika. Am
feeling a bit better but not 100 %. At least am no longer feeling like on full
tilt. hahahahahaah things are getting better but have heard this thing hangs
on for a couple of weeks.

That was me all day today! I think I'm trying to come down with something, slight fever, sore throat. If I'm not playing my ukes, I'll practice with one of my bamboo flutes and I've been too down and out to practice anything today. I'll pick up my Sopranino and practice a bit before going to bed though.

Where are you staying at? Waikiki?? I just got me a Keli'i solid koa for in mint condition for 75.00 hee hee wouldn't mind seeing your moord bettah and kawika..hee hee

Still not over it but thank god it is getting better day by day.
But there were 3 - 4 days of just 100 % brutal pain.

Hope yours is just a light case and over by morning.

Yes am in Waikiki at the Aqua Wave on Kuhio street. Sorry but the
Kawika is not here Andrew has it putting in a pickup. Am glad you
got a good deal. Am leaving soon. Am not all the way bettah but
am getting there slowly.
