Hello from Orkney. I'm im in my mid-50's and started to play the Uke. I have various guitars and know the basics, taken up playng music at the later stages in life, but who cares. it's fun!!!!

Always thought thay a uke was a fun thing but not for serious music etc but since buying one change of mind!:D
 
Welcome, Sh3ldon! Yes, you're right, the uke is boatloads of fun, and you've found the best uke site!

i have taken up the uke, with no musical knowledge at all, loving it,

Having fun is what it is all about! Learning the uke is great fun and you have picked the right place to do it! The forums are filled with some of the best players around-ask questions and read the different forum topics...I learned so much this way...
