Plz help me figure out strumming

Hi- I am mesmerized by strumming in this video by GUGUG (http://youtu.be/4dsXyl4DSFs) and was hoping someone with more experience then I am (less then a year) could help me learn this strumming technique. Perhaps point me to a tutorial video, I've been looking around but could not find anything that seems to match.

You can then jump from there and find other videos demonstrating the thumb roll (triple), fan stroke and split stroke individually.
