I have a Sporano Komoa E-Pineapple ukulele and I want to change the straight pegs to Grover geared tuners. I ordered the Grover 9NB Sta-Tite geared tuners but the shaft is just a little to short. The head on this Kamoa soprano is just a little thicker than a Lanikai Soprano ukulele. Has anyone changed from the straight pegs to the geared ones that can tell me what I might need? I am getting tired of tightening the screws to keep the string from slipping. Or is there a straight peg set that I can use to correct this problem besides Pegheads? Thanks..Keith
The tuners are this size Peghole diameter required 11/32" (8.73mm) Maximum peghead thickness 7/16" (11.11mm) and the head of the ukulele is 13mm.
