We were out playing Christmas music today. Played for about 3-4 hours and started to pack up.

The store owner that hired us ran out and said “you can’t leave, you are Santa’s band and some children that missed Santa (they had Santa in the square earlier) are coming to hear you.” So we reconnected our instruments and three little children showed up with their mom.

We put chairs up in front of us and played them some Christmas songs. The Store proprietor got one of her workers to be Misses Santa and gave them cookies, other sweets and had the small ones sit on her lap. The kids loved it.

The most touching part of it was the mom started crying and was really touched that folks cared that much. The whole thing made me tear up and it was hard to finish the last song. Merry Christmas!!

Great story. It is always such a gift to get opportunities like that.

Good stuff! This is what it is all about-no matter what time of the year. Thank you for sharing this!
