Hi Everyone!
So just last weekend, I had purchased a vintage 1954 era? ( correct me if i am wrong) gold label Kamaka soprano from an estate sale for only 150 bucks!! There are little scuff marks here and there but still, it was a steal for the price. LOL.:)
All I need to do is change out the strings because though the uke can still be played and YES THE SOUND IS QUITE LOUD AND SWEET but, there is an intonation problem that I can just tell that is there from old, worn strings! Got any suggestions for strings? I am looking for anything really as long as it isn't too harsh.

Yup you scored...is the back connected and extends to the bottom of the heel...and the case came with it..holy moly...happy strummings..
yes put on some martin M600 from elderly music...fast delivery too... then check your intonation...always do the cheapest and simplest first..
