There was a very active lady in San Antoinio, Joyce Flaugher, at alohaall at satx.rr.com , I think she may have moved to Hawaii. She ran a very active program and I believe she was tied into a city festival.

The FleaMaarket site shows four uke groups in that town along with a couple dozen folks listed. Some are bound to be active today.
