Hey - just wanted to post this to share my ongoing trial and tribulations as a new uker. I've been making some videos lately mostly to try and force myself to learn some songs and to get a little more "polished". Also maybe my rough edges will help somebody else feel better about their own singing and playing! Here's one from taken from Aaron Keim's book "A collection of jug band, hokum and pre-war blues songs" get it on etsy here http://www.etsy.com/listing/92162145/a-collection-of-jug-band-hokum-and-pre?r...

Great work. A little rough around the edges is the best way to play the blues.

Good job - most of those old blues were a little rough and that's about half the charm, I think.

Sounding great! FYI- I play the A chord as minor instead of major. The "-" after the A in the book means minor.

But, I am surprised to hear that it sounds just as good as a major chord!!!!!!

Thanks Aaron. I'd like to say that I did the major substitution on purpose - but...that would be a lie.
