Does anyone ever played one of these Japanese cheapo's? I'm interested because of the extra frets, the starnge design and the price of course.

I'm not expecting wonders, just want to open my doors for another cheapo besides my Dolphin.

made in china, no surprise, they are no Dolphin, cheaper with paint over spray and they feel cheap too.

Found a video review of it on YouTube. Not sure about the sound since there are so many factors coloring it but the paint job did look cheap. Still I'm intrigued just by it but would get it in natural if I were to pull the trigger.

It looks like the pickup-less version of this, with a thick layer of paint over it.
