Serenade for Raye... an original composition played on a Pineapple Sunday

It was exactly a year ago today that I received a beautiful Pineapple Sunday Koa Ukulele. I was also battling a nasty virus that day, much like I am today.

In any case, as we say goodbye to 2012, I nurse the flu, and try to enjoy my last two days of vacation, I thought I would record a piece that I wrote for my wife Raye several months ago...

This piece reminds me of an old Carousel that we used to go to when our kids were little, and so this tune brings back memories of more than 24 years that we have been together as we made a family and a life here in New England.

So here is a video I put together today of a "Serenade for Raye", played on a KoAloha Pineapple Sunday Ukulele.
