Road Toad Ukukleles

Anybody own or try out a Road Toad Ukulele? I was interested in buying one but would like get more info before I do.

I've played a few of Owen's ukes and they are very nice. He pays close attention to details and has produced some pretty stunning instruments. One thing I've noticed on the ones I've played is that the necks are a little beefier than most. Some prefer this and, as a matter of fact, I made my latest spruce top tenor a little deeper also to see how it affects my carpal tunnel issues. If you like thin necks then you may wish to discuss this with him because I'm sure he will accomodate your needs.

The nice thing about Owen is that he's a genuinely nice guy, not saying that other builders aren't (only 1 that I know isn't). I agree with Dominator about Owen's attention to detail - he builds nice, quality stuff. Definitely the guy to go to if you want a Bass `Ukulele.

They look really nice. If I had that kind of money I would definetly check one out.
