Hi to All! from new member S. Beane

Hey everyone,

I've played stringed instruments for over 40 years now. Just got into ukuleles about two years ago. It's amazing how fast the little things multiply. I've done my own arrangements on some songs. Banana Oil and also One More Kiss by Vangelis. Will try to post them. I recently refinished a 1920's mandolin banjo and strung it as an 8 string tenor ukulele. It turned out nice and is surprisingly loud. What do you all think about it?

Welcome! Great conversion. Congrats on getting an 8 stringer with a neck so wide at the nut. Some were quite narrow a' la mandolin. We'll be looking for it in the Marketplace one day.
