Greetings,
The button on one of the tuning pegs of my 1971 Giannini bari cracked and came off, so I need a new set. Is it even possible to find friction tuners that will fit the existing holes in that headstock, or does everything that's available today require drilling/reaming?
Someone in another thread here said that they bought Gotoh pegs for their Gianinni bari, but didn't specify which ones. If anyone can point me to some specific model numbers of tuners that would work, I would most appreciate it.
Also, if I am gonna have to modify the uke, what are your thoughts on gear-driven tuners for this uke?
Thanks!
