I'm deciding between a mahagony Pono MT and a cedar soundboard/ acacia body Pono ATC.
Both ukes are satin finished. I know the cedar tops are very soft especially when satin finished. The ATC I may purchase is new, but already has some scratches (will be discounted for this).
Has anyone had experience with either of these tenors. In particular, that ATC with the cedar soundboard? It'ld be great to know if the satin finish is just too vulnerable to last. I'm pretty sure Pono discontinued this line, don't know if that is why?
Thanks for any feedback.
