Do you mean estimate what it would cost at a neighborhood grocery in deep Alaska? Neighborhood grocery prices vary quite a bit according to location. And are we to estimate the cheapest version of these items?

Are you in the Eller family? I ask because I played Aunt Eller in "Oklahoma!" in high school. :D

Yes from our store here in AK.
I am in the family. No idea that there was an Eller in Oklahoma. Now i may have to watch that musical.

On every item, you gave the weight except:
Shopping List:
1 bag of white rice
1 bag of brown rice
1 bag of pinto beans
1 bag of lentils
5 bags of frozen veggies

Now, since I can buy Rice in 1, 3, 5, or 10 pound bags at the local grocery store, OR 50 pound bags at the Co-Op or wholesale club, which size bag can YOU buy?

Or more to the point, what size should we use?

Thanks!

(Do you want the answer posted here, or by PM?)
