When I looked it up it said it was a 'traditional song' so its composition is not attributed to anyone.
Has been done by many artists, including Odetta, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Moby, Blind Boys of Alabama and more.

Yes. Regretfully. It drove me crazy the other day with the itches so trimmed it was.
I really wanted a LONG one and had been growing it for a year but the last 3 months it didn't seem to be growing any longer.
