yes, sadly it seems i have uas.

so i have my old makala tenor bought from mgm (great guy by the way) like months ago and now it seems it's time to upgrade (or maybe i just want a new one).

now the thing is, is it really worth buying?

i want to get a kala ka-s (soprano) mahogany from mgm: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Kala-KA-S-M...16224QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1713.m153.l1262

"The sound that comes out of this little Uke is miles ahead of the Makala/Mahalo beginner Ukes! should i take their word for it?

makala tenor to a kala soprano. is it worth it?

Like mine so much I got another.... now one is Low G and the other High g... but I like my Pono better...

Like Deach said for the money.... but you don't say how much your willin to part with?

The Kala Ka-? line are great... i own a Kala KA-C and with MGM setting up the action and making it all spiffy i enjoy it for what i paid... my only thing is that you say "Upgrading" and a Makala Tenor to a Kala Soprano isnt that huge of a jump... as freedive said we dont know how much you are willing to spend... if your willing to part with a bit more you can actually Upgrade. but again, this is just my opinion...

I just bought a kala CE from MGM. Not necessarily the biggest upgrade from my Mitchell MU100 concert, but it definitely offers a different sound. A sound that fits more towards my style. The only thing that I would say to make sure is to make sure that you like the feel and size of a soprano.

If you put too much thought into it, it's not really UAS. See it, touch it, play it, take it home, without any regard to price or necessity, that's true UAS.
