First set I've gotten, these are my new favorite.
Pricy? sure.

Those look great Dave! You got any specific plans for them? They would look great on an all mahogany tenor.

Hoot! I've been exposed!

Take a look over at Uke Talk. The subject has been covered ad nauseam.

I don't hang out there, missed it.

The new Gotoh line does look beautiful, and will function well. I have an Oscar Schmidt OU-250 Bell that had geared tuners on it. When I removed them, there was a gaping big hole. It was 10mm. 3/8 is 9.53mm. What is the weight of four Gotoh tuners? How much sticks out the back? How much do they cost?

3/8 is 9.53mm.

Gotoh recommends a peg hole of 9.7 - 10mm.

What is the weight of four Gotoh tuners?

About 64 grams or 2.3 ounces.

How much sticks out the back?

Just a bit over 30mm, depending on your choice of buttons. Diagrams here: http://www.g-gotoh.com/international/images/UPT-DimensionsEN.jpg

How much do they cost?

Varies depending on finish/button combo, as well as source. I'll let others quote prices. Don't want to SPAM.
