After working with Aaron and Char via eMail, definition of #1160 was completed yesterday when I selected the curly koa wood stock back for my tenor cutaway classic. A sitka spruce top and ebony fingerboard are the other major features. String date is scheduled for 1 October.

Congratulations! Great koa! Just wait until it's sanded and finished. Koa looks, like, 10 times better after that!

That's what it is! I knew that it reminded me of something, I just couldn't put my finger on it!

It really is a beautiful piece of wood. I've never seen coloring like that before. I would really like to see it once it's been finished.

Cool wood for the back. I can't wait to see it once it's finished. Gordon, Char, and Aaron are a delight to work with. Super nice people and they really care about each and every instrument they build. Enjoy the process.
