I am looking to "upgrade" the pegs on my antique no-name ukulele.
After I finished it up, because I went broke (and still kind of am) and had them without having to make any modifications to the uke, I installed some cheapo Chinese friction pegs on the uke. They look and work fine, but I would like to install some period correct pegs on the uke. I know I can buy a new set for $30, but I would like to find an older set that looks like it might have been on the uke since new. I am looking for black buttons as well. If worse comes to worse, I can use the ones off of my Harmony and replace the buttons for black ones and stick the new set on the Harmony, but I'd prefer not to do that (though they are in the proper condition for my little uke).
So, I say all of this to ask you all out there if you have a working set of these tuning pegs you are willing to sell me that aren't brand new? If you do, please PM me and we can discuss price
