UAS: Oops, I did it again

It was a total accident, honest. I already have a Lanikai tenor, I have an Islander concert on order from HMS, and now I have bought a UBass.

Ebay is evil. There is this seller who lists 'blemished' instruments, sometimes quite a lot cheaper than perfect order. This one had a slight blemish on the bridge. I put in a bid, never expecting to win it, and frankly I'd rather have bought a different colour than the standard Kala Spruce & mahogany. But it was meant to be.

Fortunately I already have an amp for my theremin (yes, it isn't just ukes).

Now, if only I could learn to play these instruments....

You're right: eBay is a bad, bad place. . I love it. Enjoy the UBass. One of these days I may join the club.

I got a used Ubass for Christmas. They are a blast. They have passive pickups so a preamp might be in order. If you don't have one, do a search here on the forum.

Have fun and enjoy it. The sound is amazing.
