I watched the movie "The Savages" and the opening sequence had this song by Peggy Lee, and I thought it was the most heart wrenching rendition of this song I have ever heard. When I was scouting around it also features very prominently in the film "Reds" It appears as a motif thoughout the movie and even has one sequence where it is played on Ukulele

The Peggy Lee rendition has a harp playing at the beginning and those opening phrases
echo a taunt that Finnish children use ( La La La La Lee Roo ) in Scotland it
was ( Na na na na na na ). Strange but somehow appropriate that it should find
its way into this song.
