Howdy

I'll bet one of the sharpies here on the forum will be able to ID it but in the meantime, it looks similar to ones made by Richter and/or the Maxitone. The pegs being staggered is different though. If you do a search for 'gumby headstock' you might find your answer. Nice looking uke. Are you thinking of buying it?

Hello, hello. :)

Even that small info is big enough. I do more search on it. Owner said it has no label at all.

I'm thinking of getting it, yes. If I like it.

Really like that headstock shape with the pegs staggered. Wonder if there's any ID to be bound under the back plate?

I imagine the 'famous ukulele lady' is May Singhi Breen.

It looks like a U-King to me. They used that headstock shape.

i'd say u-king too. sometimes seen them as maxitone

I read somewhere that U-King was the maker of the tailpiece only. I can't confirm that however. There are many U-king marked tailpieces on Bruno/Maxitone banjo ukuleles.
