Just ordered a black dolphin from Uke Republic. I've been practicing/playing my Makala concert since November, and wanted to try a smaller soprano. Hopefully its not the start of UAS!

I got an orange one from Uke Republic last week. I was pleased with how nice it looks (for orange), & how nice it sounds.

Yes, welcome to the Dolphin Club. I have black one and a green one from Uke Republic. They're great.
I have a Green one, bought from a warehouse store. It needed a little bit of work on it, but nothing so specialised I couldn't do it myself. As a take-anywhere-in-any-weather uke it's a fun one! I'm not the biggest soprano fan, but I do love my dolphin.

I have good news and better news.
The good news is this is not the start of UAS.
The better news is that it is clearly the manifestation of existing UAS...

Congrats! It's a really neat little uke, I have a red one out on loan, have bought a blue one and a purple one, both for firneds who have never played before...they're loving it!

Dolphins definately have that certain something that makes them fun. My first ukulele was a dolphin which I then gave to my grandson. I missed it so much that I just had to go and buy another one.

Well, I'm sitting here at the keyboard waiting for the US Mail to deliver it today. I'd post pictures except for the fact that: 1. I don't know how, and 2. Everyone knows what a dolphin looks like!

We have one for each of the grand kids (exept the one year old, I'm looking for one for her) and they are so much fun I had to get myself one!

Well, I'm sorry to tell you (sort of), but yes, it's likely the beginning of UAS; a Dolphin purchase was for me! I was happy with my Makala for about a year, but wanted something more colorful and bought a sparkly blue Dolphin a couple of months back. I enjoyed that so much I had to have a red burst, too. I don't have plans for any more Dolphins right now, but never say never! Enjoy your new Dolphin!

I just ordered a white one last week. I couldn't resist -- $40 with free shipping. Despite the fact that I have ukes I already love and I only play concerts. Oh well. All the chatter about Dolphins on this site made me need one.

Yep - arrived as scheduled. Shiny, glossy black, set up by Mike at Uke Republic with Aquila strings. Sounds great, but really need to practice more.
