Do I like it?

No, I don't.

The first couple times I saw videos like this I may have thought the makers were being clever/ironic/funny, now though, not so much. What do you think?

Pretty darn lame if I must say so myself. The sooner this whole Soulja Boy thing disappears, the better.

Damn Kateri, you found the exception to the rule. That version was pretty amazing. That said, Andre3k is on a different level than any other MC right now. For someone considered so mainstream, his lyrics are sick.

ok, I'll buy a beer (or energy drink/slurpee/water/whatever if you aren't legal or don't drink) for anyone who posts up a good acoustic cover of that song^^^^

I'm easily entertained, so I enjoy them.

Oh, and Matt Weddle's Hey Ya cover is something I've been watching at least twice a week for months now. It is incredible.

Nina Gordon's version of Straight Outta Compton owns the acoustic hip hop genre.

To each their own. But I don't really like this one so much.

Maybe I am getting it wrong but I hear her and think "Oh that is cute.. a cute voice singing rough lyrics to mellow fingerpicking". It sounds like THAT was the intended point...to be cute and ironic.
