Are you looking exclusively at Applause instruments?

If you are, it depends on whether you want to amp it up or not. The natural colored one is without a pickup. But, if you planned on playing live or something you might want to get the other one with a pickup.

I have the acoustic electric applause and i'm very happy with it. Like Sinisterdom said though, it really just depends on whether you want to have a pickup in it.

also, if you dont have your heart set on an applause, i would check out MGM's store. he has some great beginner ukes for sale!
