View Full Version : Strum and paint

Inspired by Don Blair's photograph of the Neil Armstrong playing an uke

I play and paint badly, but it's always fun and relaxing when I got a brush or an uke in hand.

You painted that? If so why do you think you paint badly. That's a fine painting. Everyone has a different style and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Did you secure the brush to the headstock and paint whilst you played? That would be rad.

If you play uke and good as you paint.....hmmm we'd love to see a vedeo...many thank you

Thanks all :D

The photo gave me the idea that "sometimes we need to take a break,
even we've just took a huge step forward".

My next target would be IZ

I envy anyone who can handle 2D - I have never been able to create an illusion of 3D on a piece of paper or a canvas. If you want me to create "art" then give me a lump of clay any day ;)

I like your painting; especially the hint of a black hole above the Uke's sound hole ;). I am a very distant relation of Neil Armstrong's - our ancestors came from the same town in Scotland - his went to the US, mine went to Ireland.... and generations later to Liverpool.
